About Lynda Peterson

Lynda Peterson lives and paints in rural Dassel Minnesota. A former watercolorist, Peterson has returned to oil painting with great enthusiasm, finding the texture and solid hues of the painting intriguing and exciting.

While outdoor landscape scenes continue to comprise the greater part of her work, portraits and collage bring a change of focus that Peterson feels she needs to stay creative.

Peterson is an active member of Artists of Minnesota, a statewide artists group, and Art of the Lakes, in Battle Lake, Minnesota. Her works are currently shown in several galleries in Minnesota.
